Chief Event Strategist
Shannon is not only a planner in her professional life but in her personal life as well…just ask Joe! She has been in the business events industry for more than 20 years and to further her commitment to the industry, she studied tirelessly to obtain her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation as well as her Digital Event Strategist (DES) and Virtual Event & Meeting Management (VEMM).
Her extensive meeting management experience includes working as Manager of Conferences & Events for Canada Health Infoway, Program Manager for the Ontario Hospital Association, Conference Manager for the Canadian Society of Club Managers and Conference Manager for Parr + Associates, an Association Management Firm.
She thinks it is important to contribute to the industry and is an active volunteer. She is also a Regional Director with Meeting Encore, Canada’s first site selection and venue contracting experts.
When she is not working hard, she is cheering for the Jays, the Raptors (…and yes the Leafs), searching for the best sparkling wine, mastering the art of popcorn making, loving (and hating) working out, planning the next home renovation and dreaming about her next travel adventure!
